Since we’re getting personal…

I’m a Zillennial, the micro-generation born somewhere between 1993 and 1998. I remember watching Disney movies on VHS and vaguely remember my mom having a pager, but I had a Facebook profile by middle school and Snapchat-induced FOMO in college.

I consider myself a spiritual person. Spirituality to me means moving through life with a sense of meaning, purpose, and evolution. It also means I’m human, and it’s a practice to keep returning to in a very distracting world.

I’m still unlearning some of the rigidity that can come with religion while becoming more engaged with my Jewish ancestry and identity. I’m increasingly interested in religious traditions as one of the many ways people have made sense of what it means to be human.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more of my time exploring meditative, somatic, and psychedelic experiences. Those experiences shaped how I think about healing and continue to influence my practice today.

I’m interested in your spiritual beliefs and background, too, whatever they may be. I appreciate the many ways we find meaning, ritual, awe, and connection.
